you will likely come across a multitude of videos and pictures showing put-together-people applying skincare, possibly sitting down to read a book on their balcony, or even watching the sunset in a bathtub while enjoying a glass of champagne. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is the self care that many of us are aware of and exposed to on an almost everyday basis. But have you heard that there are different types of self care &#8211; and that almost all of them are not nearly as extravagant or aesthetic as what you see on social media? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In today&#8217;s article we are going to introduce to you those other types of self-care and explain to you why you should try as much as you can to incorporate them into your lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_Self_Care\"><\/span><b>What Is Self Care?<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we have said, self care is more than taking care of the skin, reading, or finding a way to <a href=\"https:\/\/betterme.world\/articles\/mental-preparation-for-weight-loss\/\">relax<\/a>. In this paper, the author defined self-care as a multidimensional, multifaceted process of purposeful engagement in strategies that support day-to-day routines and enhance well-being (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/30742459\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). But have you heard that there are different types of self care - and that almost all of them are not nearly as extravagant or aesthetic as what you see on social media? <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In today's article we are going to introduce to you those other types of self-care and explain to you why you should try as much as you can to incorporate them into your lifestyle.<\/span>\r\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>What Is Self Care?<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As we have said, self care is more than taking care of the skin, reading, or finding a way to <a href=\"https:\/\/betterme.world\/articles\/mental-preparation-for-weight-loss\/\">relax<\/a>.
