In response to this damage, your body repairs and strengthens the <a href=\"https:\/\/betterme.world\/articles\/cable-machine-exercises\/\">muscles<\/a> by building them up larger and stronger than they were before. When they&#8217;re activated, they fuse together to form new muscle fibers.
